A circuit walk on wide service trails through beautiful bush, the Lake Talooma trail takes you past a scenic dam and through a scout camp for an interesting 5km bush fix for you and bub. With a couple of optional side tracks, you can add more variety to the walk!
It’s a luxury when there is a cafe and picnic area halfway on a walk, especially when you can order cake and coffee to fuel the return walk up a long set of stairs! Despite the stairs, this is a pleasant 7km walk with some beautiful bush and scenery and a great halfway point for bub to have a play in the park.
An easy, scenic urban walk with plenty of great places for a pitstop. Multiple playgrounds, bushtrails, cafes and even a pub, it’s a great mix of history, urban convenience and enough bush to get a nature fix, with lots to explore for both you and bub!
Kingfisher pool is a short but adventurous hike to a serene pool in Heathcote National Park. Go after some rain and watch the water cascading into the pools below over a picnic lunch.
Robertson roundabout is an excellent circuit hike that takes you up a ridge with scenic views of the Hacking River and surrounding bushland of the Royal National Park. For a short hike, it packs alot in with a good variety of scenery to wow bub.
Oatley park is a bush wonderland in suburbia. This 5km easy, loop is a wonderful walk with some great spots to stop for a mid walk picnic with bub. If it’s warm, a splash in Oatley baths will add to the adventure fun for bub!
